Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that Charles Nduka has signed a two-year contract extension.
The 27-year-old Japanese striker, who initially signed during the January transfer window, has committed to Victory until 2028.
Identified through the Club’s work with Jamestown Analytics while playing for Kagoshima United in his homeland, Nduka started 10 times in 13 appearances last season and scored five goals and two assists, including a brace against Premiers, Newcastle Jets.
Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, commented:
“We are really pleased to have secured Charles on a longer-term basis at Melbourne Victory. He made a significant contribution on the pitch during our 2025/26 campaign after coming in mid-season, adding great energy to our attack and bringing a great character to our dressing room.
“We are looking forward to seeing what Charles can achieve in his first full A-League season, having adapted so quickly earlier this year.”
Nduka said:
“Thank you to Melbourne Victory for this opportunity. I really enjoyed my first few months here in Australia and playing in the A-League.
“Now it is all about scoring more goals and contributing to the team to achieve success for the amazing fans we are privileged to play in front of.”
