Melbourne Victory memberships are available by clicking here, calling 1300 GO MVFC (46 6832), or from the Victory Shop, 236 Swan Street, Richmond.

Melbourne Victory’s move to the $268 million stadium will be a milestone for generations of football fans in Melbourne and is a credit to the commitment of members who have supported the club since its inception in 2005.

Melbourne Victory 2009/10 members will be acknowledged for their support when seating opportunities are released in November this year.

While construction continues the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium ahead of its scheduled opening in early 2010, the bigger task at hand for Melbourne Victory is allocating seats at the venue to over 20,000 members.

It will be the club’s biggest undertaking since it moved to Etihad Stadium in 2006 and 7000 members required seat allocation.

Unlike Etihad Stadium, Melbourne Rectangular Stadium will be fully reserved, meaning every Melbourne Victory 2009/10 member will be offered a seat.

This takes into consideration availability for all member, club and corporate areas, as well as daily ticketing.

There is no guarantee that seats at the venue will be available after they are offered to 2009/10 members.

For 2009/10 members, the priority model will play an important part in the seat allocation process.

The priority model outlines the sequence in which the club will allocate every individual member. Five-year members will receive first priority, four-year-members will receive second priority, three-year members will receive third priority and so on.

To view the priority model, please click here and scroll to page 5.

The club has been diligent in contacting all 2008/09 members through a range of mediums to renew their membership for 2009/10 and encourage their friends and families to sign up and ensure an allocation together at the new stadium.

It cannot be stressed enough that the number of Melbourne Victory members this season will determine the number of seats available at the new stadium.

Melbourne Victory will soon send detailed information about the new stadium and an expression of interest form, giving all members the chance to list their preferences with staggered reply dates dictated by the priority model.

During this period, members will be able to access Melbourne Victory Membership Services for all queries regarding the new stadium and the preference process.
