Victory’s unbeaten run in NPL 3 Victoria is now at seven ahead of a home clash with Geelong SC on Saturday.
It’s been a bright start to the season for Victory, who sit third on the table, just two points behind league-leaders Melbourne City.
Last week’s 0-0 result in hostile territory against North Sunshine was a stoic performance despite their inability to find the back of the net, with the young side not taking a backwards step in a tough contest.

It sets up an important clash with fifth-placed Geelong, who sit just three points behind Victory after three consecutive wins in recent weeks.
The two teams played out a 1-1 draw last season at Epping Stadium in their only meeting of the year.
The fixture has been brought forward to a 2pm kick-off due to Victory’s 5.15pm A-League Men Semi-Final kick-off.
Player in focus
Marko Bulic has been in strong form between the sticks and was a standout performer in last week’s clean sheet. Victory has conceded just 10 goals in their nine games this season and only one across their last four.
