The Reagan Milstein Foundation (RMF) wants your help collecting old football boots at the Melbourne Victory v Wellington Phoenix game this Friday night.
RMF will have a red wheelie-bin at Gates 2 & 7 and we urge everyone to donate their old boots to this fantastic cause. RMF collects your pre-loved football gear and distributes it to less fortunate football communities in Australia and around the world.
The Reagan Milstein Foundation was created in the memory of a popular and sports-loving teenager, who died tragically after a scuba diving accident in July, 2010.
Because of Reagan-s great love of football it made sense to channel the efforts of the foundation into assisting in the development of talented youth footballers, as well as encouraging more children to play football. The Foundation also takes special interest in the encouragement and development of indigenous youth in football.
While the foundation has been created to help those in need, it is also hoped that the foundation will keep the memory of Reagan Milstein alive in the community and allow us to fulfil those expectations he placed on himself to make a difference in the lives of others.
So clean out your garage and help make a difference by donating your old boots!
