Sherman to host Wodonga clinic

Melbourne Victory’s General Manager of Technical and Coaching, Rob Sherman will be in Wodonga on August 29 to conduct a coach’s education session and a training clinic for Murray United youth players.

Born in Wales, Sherman played professionally for Cardiff City, Swansea City and Hull City. He has worked as the Wales National U-16 Coach, nurturing players like Gareth Bale.

More recently, Sherman held the position of Technical Director with Football New Zealand and Advanced Coaching Manager for Football Federation Australia (FFA), where he presented Pro & A Licence courses.

Players and coaches from the Border community will have the chance to sit-in, observe and gain an insight into high performance pathways via the NPL, Hyundai A-League and beyond.
