Following a pitch inspection held at 12:30pm today by A-League, Westfield W-League and Jubilee Stadium officials, Victory’s double-header against Sydney FC has been postponed.
Sydney has been struck by 100 millimetres of rain in the last 12 hours with more to follow, making the playing surface waterlogged.
Severe weather warnings are in place across New South Wales.
Victory thanks its travelling members and fans who made the journey to Sydney and apologises for the inconvenience caused by the postponement.
The club will work with Sydney FC, the Australian Professional Leagues and all other stakeholders to re-schedule both fixtures as soon as possible.
