Team News: Victory’s Derby squad submitted

Melbourne Victory has submitted its extended squad for Saturday’s much anticipated Melbourne Derby.

All four of the Club’s four January transfer window additions have been included in the squad, with the squad also bolstered by the inclusion of players returning from injury.

After missing Victory’s Round 16 clash with Newcastle through soreness, Jason Geria has trained all week.

Paul Izzo has continued to train with the squad following a thumb injury, and is in contention for selection for the first time since Round 9.

Fernando Romero has trained with the team following his arrival into Australia, and is included in Tony Popovic’s extended squad.
