Tell us what football means to you

The walk out onto the pitch. The solidarity of the crowd singing “Stand By Me” as one. The break-aways down the sideline. The spectacular diving saves and headers. The atmosphere of AAMI Park. We miss our fans. We miss football.

As we are urged to stay home, away from family and friends, we have found a new appreciation for the ability to go to the local pub to watch the football, or walk down Swan Street enroute to a Friday night match after a chaotic week at work.

As the future of football remains unknown, we would like to take a moment to reflect on what this sport means to us, and what Victory means to us. We’d like you, our supporters, to do the same!

In a short, 60 second video, tell us in your own words what football means to you. Whether it’s the thrill of a sea of blue and white scarves or the feeling of belonging amongst your fellow supporters, if you miss us as much as we miss you, let us know what Victory means to you.

Leave your video in the comments section on Facebook or reply to us on Twitter, and we’ll compile your messages over the next week.

We can’t wait to hear and share your messages.
