This week at Victory: Men prepare for Brisbane, as NPL continue unbeaten start

Victory’s A-League Men lifted themselves from the foot of the ladder with an epic win at home over Macarthur on Sunday afternoon, as the Club’s NPL sides continue their unbeaten start to 2023.

After returning to Melbourne in epic fashion on Sunday with an ANZAC Round win over Macarthur, Victory’s Men remain at home to host Brisbane in the final round of the season.

Saturday’s game is dedicated to the Club’s Members, with Member Recognition Round set to celebrate the supporters who have stood by throughout Season 2022/23.

A number of exciting activations are planned, so stay tuned for updates.

NPL & Academy

A scoreless draw on Saturday in Round 6 of the NPL is the first time Victory have dropped points this season, after winning five on the bounce to open 2023.

Victory host North Sunshine Eagles on Sunday at home in Epping in what will be a highly anticipated first v second clash.

A 3-1 win over Caroline Springs George Cross has continued the U21’s winning start to the season, claiming maximum points across all six league fixtures.

The time has also come for Victory’s Junior Academy sides to begin the second phase of their 2023 season, with the JBNPL1 campaign kicking off on Sunday – with all teams set to face Western United.
