Valadon determined to keep contributing for Victory

Jordi Valadon is hoping Melbourne Victory can make more positive steps in Round 21.

Arthur Diles’ team are back at AAMI Park to take on seventh-place Macarthur FC on Sunday, March 15, kick-off 7pm AEDT.

The fixture follows a 2-2 draw against Sydney FC in the Big Blue last weekend, with Victory now unbeaten in five Isuzu UTE A-League matches.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference, Valadon assessed the team’s current form before commenting on his own performance.

“We’re feeling pretty good. We’re playing some good football at the moment, and I think we’re working to fix the little things that we can improve. But overall, I think we’re playing good football, and we’re looking forward to another big game.

“More or less continuing to be as solid as I can throughout the middle, and improve getting a bit more involved up the field and contributing up there – it’s probably something I’m still looking to improve.”

Jordi Valadon was a stand-out performer in the 2-2 draw with Sydney FC.

Valadon went on to assess the visiting Bulls, currently a single point behind Central Coast Mariners, who occupy sixth spot going into the weekend.

“They’ve got a lot of experience there. It’s also what I want to play against, people who have been around for a while and know how to play the game really well.”
