This year Starlight celebrates 25 years of transforming the experience of hospitalisation and treatment for seriously ill children in Victoria and across Australia.

When they-re not training hard, Victory players spend time visiting the kids in the Starlight Express Room at the Royal Children-s Hospital, helping Captain Starlight take the kids- minds off their illness and the pain of their treatment.

The Melbourne Victory game against Perth Glory at Aami Park on Saturday 23rd March will be the official Starlight match, helping to raise much-needed funds for Starlight-s vital in-hospital and wish granting programs.

You can make a difference at the game and bring happiness to sick kids in hospital by:

– Making a donation or buying a flashing star wand from Starlight volunteers.
– Getting a “V” painted on your face by Starlight for a donation – and you-ll be in to win the Face in the Crowd Competition! The cameras will zoom in on a painted face at half time and they-ll take home a Nintendo 3DS XL valued at $299.90

Starlight does not receive any government funding so the community-s ongoing support is essential to help Starlight ‘Shine On- and transform the lives of Australia’s seriously ill children into the future.

Please help Melbourne Victory help Starlight continue to support seriously ill children and their families by donating what you can at the game.
