Victory trio named in Socceroos squad for June FIFA Window

Melbourne Victory is proud to confirm that Ryan Teague, Daniel Arzani and Kasey Bos have been named in the Socceroos squad for the upcoming FIFA international window.

Following standout performances throughout the 2024/25 A-League season, Ryan Teague and Daniel Arzani return to the national squad after contributing to Australia’s March campaign, which saw the Socceroos secure consecutive wins — 5-1 over Indonesia and 2-0 against China.

Fresh off an impressive A-League season, Kasey Bos has been rewarded for his consistent excellence at both junior international and domestic levels with his first senior national team call-up.

Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, said the selections were a testament to the players’ hard work and dedication throughout the season.

“We are incredibly proud to see an Academy-developed player in Kasey given an opportunity to join the Socceroos for these critical World Cup qualifiers,” Didulica said.

“It’s great recognition of his growth over the past 18 months and of the player pathway being built at Victory. As they did during the last international break, we have every confidence that Daniel and Ryan will continue their strong form at club level and contribute to the Socceroos in these important matches.”

Australia will host top-ranked Japan on Thursday 5 June at Perth Stadium, Western Australia, in front of a passionate home crowd, before travelling to Jeddah to face Saudi Arabia on Tuesday 10 June at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.

Head Coach Tony Popovic has named an extended 26-player squad ahead of Australia’s AFC Asian Qualifiers™ – Road to 26 fixtures. The Socceroos currently sit second in Group C, with just two matches remaining in Round Three qualifying. The top two teams in each group will qualify directly for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
