Melbourne Victory stars Besart Berisha, Marco Rojas and James Troisi have been nominated for the PFA A-League Player of the Month for February.
Starring throughout the Victory’s unbeaten February, Berisha, Rojas and Troisi tormented Hyundai A-League defenders.
Berisha scored four goals in four games – including his 50th Hyundai A-League goal for Victory – while Rojas and Troisi chipped in with a goal apiece.
The PFA A-League Player of the Month nominees for February are:
- Besart Berisha (Melbourne Victory)
- Marco Rojas (Melbourne Victory)
- James Troisi (Melbourne Victory)
- Diego Castro (Perth Glory)
- Milos Ninkovic (Sydney FC)
PFA president Alex Wilkinson said the nominees underlined the quality of players plying their trade in the Hyundai A-League.
“I congratulate them all on this deserved recognition and all five are worthy of being named PFA A-League Player of the Month,” said Wilkinson.
“All five have been instrumental for their clubs throughout the season and no more so than during February, and the players once again will face a tough task in selecting a winner.”
