Victory’s pre-season is about to ramp up as Tony Popvic’s side travels to Western Australia to face Perth Glory over two matches.
The boys in blue will travel regionally to Bunbury, Western Australia’s largest regional town, for a clash with Glory on Sunday 1 October before returning to Perth for a second friendly on Wednesday 4 October.
An Open Training will also take place at Hay Park, Bunbury, at 5:00pm in the lead-up to our first friendly, further details to come.
Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie, said it was a great opportunity for the men’s squad to be travelling to Western Australia over the pre-season.
“We’re incredibly excited to be travelling to Western Australia in October to take on Perth Glory at Hay Park in Bunbury and then again at Dorrien Gardens in Perth,” she said.
“This promises to be a great football event for all Western Australian football fans and an opportunity for the team to test out the squad against another quality A-league side ahead of the 2023/24 season.
“We look forward to visiting WA and enjoying what the region has to offer.”
