Melbourne Victory Coach Ange Postecoglou says he’s looking forward to working with Kiwi international Kosta Barbarouses following the New Zealander’s first day with the squad.

Meanwhile talk surrounding Socceroo Mark Milligan’s future continues, however Postecoglou said the club didn’t have a ‘For Sale’ sign up for the 28-year-old.

To hear what Ange had to say about Barbarouses, Milligan and pre-season, press play on the video above.

“We value Millsy very, very highly, if someone looks to prise him away from us we’d expect them to meet our valuation of him,” Postecoglou said.

“He’s contracted for another two years, we see him as a very important part of what we are building.”

Speaking on Barbarbouses, Postecoglou had high praise for the 23-year-old and was glad to be able to have the Kiwi back under his watch..

“It’s obviously pleasing to get him here and I know Kosta really well, having worked with him up in Brisbane,” Postecoglou said.

“(Marco Rojas and Barbarouses are) different types of players, both really threatening in the front third which is great for us. Kosta’s a different type of threat but he can score goals and he’s certainly proven that in this league.

“We sign players to fit into our structure and I’m confident our new signings will do that and what we are trying to do is improve the way we play.”
