“It’s not just my players or our players but everyone around the league, they’ve been running around for four months itching to get out there,” Postecoglou said.

And Postecoglou said he won’t be looking to focus on any particular opposition players this Saturday night.

“I don’t think we’ve ever targeted or singled out players,” he said.

“Anyone who knows the way I coach, it’s very much about how we play our football. It won’t be any different tomorrow night and it won’t be any different when we play Sydney with Alessandro (Del Piero) or Western Sydney with Shinji (Ono) or anyone else in the league, it’s not the way we do things.”
