Melbourne Victory coach Kevin Muscat says he is pleased to have a near-full squad to pick from ahead of Sunday’s Australia Day blockbuster.

With the return of four U22 international players, plus the arrival of Tom Rogic, Muscat said his side was prepared for another big clash on Sunday.

Press play on the video below to hear what Muscat has to say about Sunday’s match, the potential starting XI and much more.

Captain Mark Milligan and defender Adama Traore are the only two players unavailable, with Milligan’s knee injury keeping him out of the side, while Traore will miss one week through suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Wellington.

Chilean Pablo Contreras left the training track early, with Muscat saying he was unsure of his fitness for the U-NITE match against Sydney.

“There was no indication of anything before training,” Muscat said.

“For him to go in would suggest he felt something but hopefully it’s nothing too serious.”

Youngster Dylan Murnane is set to replace suspended Traore in the starting line up, while Scott Galloway may be handed a starting spot at right-back.
