More than 3,000 attended Melbourne Victory’s annual Open Day and intra-club match at AAMI Park on Sunday.
The crowd got to witness a great Melbourne Victory themed day, with a chance to meet their heroes as the entire playing squad made their way around the stadium to sign autographs and pose for pictures, or the highly requested ‘selfie’.
Mark Milligan provided the on pitch highlight of the day, with a stunning strike from long range, sending the crowd into wild applause.

The day gave fans a small glimpse into the celebrations planned for our 10th anniversary, with plenty of exciting things in the works for the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 season.
Past players were also involved in the day, with former Championship winners Roddy Vargas and Kristian Sarkies taking questions and chatting about their time at Melbourne Victory.
This was the last official hit-out in Melbourne before Round 1 at Etihad Stadium on Friday, October 10.
