Melbourne Victory are proud sponsors of Cultural Diversity Week and have worked closely with the Victorian Multicultural Commission to engage with tens-of-thousands of visitors at this year-s Viva Victoria festival.
Melbourne Victory delivered a football flavour to the festival and provided plenty of entertainment.
Melbourne Victory’s Panna Cage was in full swing, giving the chance for footballers of all ages and cultural groups the chance to learn some new skills. The club ran competitions and provided plenty of giveaways to the newest crop of Victory fans
The Melbourne Panna League championships were also held at the festival, which saw some of the most skilful players battle it out for the championship title. Karl Faraj not only won the day’s competition, but was crowned the champion of the Melbourne Panna League.
Melbourne Victory young-gun Andrew Nabbout was on hand to present the award, take on the Panna champion and also show some of junior footballers how it-s done.
