Have your say and vote now for the Victory Women’s Player of the Month of January, with Melbourne Victory fans invited to choose from a trio of nominees.
Putting in standout performances across the month, the three-player shortlist is made up of the Player of the Match winners during Victory’s four Ninja A-League fixtures in January.
After midfielder Rhianna Pollicina took out the award last month for her impressive displays in December, let’s take a look at the nominees who will have the chance to win the first Player of the Month award for the new year.
Victory Women’s Player of the Month nominees
Kayla Morrison
With two Player of the Match displays in Victory’s Round 12 & 14 matches against Brisbane Roar and Sydney FC, respectively, Captain Kayla Morrison finds herself in contention to win her first Player of the Month award.
The three-time Victory Medallist has led the team from the back and recorded an impressive average FotMob rating of 7.15 across January, particularly shining in passing statistics among the A-League Women’s top centre-backs while not missing a single minute of action across the 2025/26 season so far.
Maintaining a consistent high level of performance amid a rough patch of team form that saw Victory winless in January, Morrison will be a strong contender for the January Player of the Month award.
Kennedy White
Scoring all of Victory’s goals since the turn of the new year, towering striker Kennedy White finds herself back in contention for the Player of the Month award after winning the first edition back in November.
Standing out as the Player of the Match in Victory’s clash with Original Rivals Adelaide United in Round 13, the 25-year-old finished the game with an impressive FotMob rating of 8.5 after scoring a goal and recording six shots on target.
Leading the team’s scoring charts across the campaign so far with eight goals, which also has her third in the A-League Women’s golden-boot race, White’s two goals and average FotMob rating of 7.40 in January will have her contending for her second Player of the Month award of the season.
Rachel Lowe
Returning to contention for the Player of the Month award following her previous nomination in November, midfielder Rachel Lowe has continued her impressive displays into the new year.
Winning the Player of the Match award in Victory’s most recent Round 15 fixture away to Canberra United, the 25-year-old finished the game with a 7.5 FotMob rating after a complete performance in the centre of the park.
While Lowe did miss Victory’s Round 13 clash with Adelaide United, the number 23 has played and started in all other games so far this season and will aim to be recognised as the team’s Player of the Month for January.
Voting closes on Thursday, February 5, 11:59pm.
