Signing on for the 2025/26 season, Ivorian international Adama Traore continues to build his legacy as an all-time great for Melbourne Victory.
Joining Victory back in 2012 after an impressive stint with Gold Coast United, the left-back’s impressive performances in Australia saw him make the move to Europe in 2014, fresh off winning the Victory Medal.
First joining Liga Portugal side Vitória de Guimarães, Traore later went on to join Swiss giants FC Basel and Turkish club Göztepe S.K., notably winning three consecutive Swiss Super League titles with Basel.
Traore would make his return the Vuck in 2019 and later return to the club for a third time in 2023 after a two-season stint with Western Sydney Wanderers.
With experience playing in both UEFA Champions League and Europa League competitions, the 35-year-old offers vast experience and guidance both on and off the field to his teammates.
