Arthur Diles

Beginning the 2024/25 season as an assistant, Arthur Diles took charge of the Melbourne Victory midway through the campaign, impressing in his first stint as a senior head coach.

Beginning his managerial career in New South Wales with Sydney Olympic and later Western Sydney Wanderers, Diles had the opportunity to join Tony Popovic as an assistant at Greek club, Xanthi.

Diles returned to Australia the following season to join Newcastle Jets, spending two seasons as an assistant before reuniting with Tony Popovic at Melbourne Victory.

Stepping into the head coach position after unexpected circumstances in December 2024, Diles helped the club finish in the A-League Men’s top six.

Progressing through to the Grand Final after memorable away wins over Western Sydney Wanders and Auckland FC in the elimination and semi-finals respectively, Diles will aim to take the club back to glory in 2025/26.
