Brendan Hamill is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Melbourne Victory FC. He began his career with the Australian Institute of Sport in the National Youth League before signing his first professional contract with Melbourne Heart in 2010, where he made history as the youngest player to debut for the club.

The 32-year-old’s career has included stints at Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma in South Korea and Western Sydney Wanderers, before joining Western United in 2019. In July 2021, he reunited with coach Tony Popovic at Melbourne Victory after two seasons at Western United. Hamill briefly played for Mohun Bagan SG in the Indian Super League, debuting in August 2022.

Internationally, he has represented Australia at the U-20 level and was selected for the Olympic team in 2011. Known for his defensive prowess, Hamill continues to be a key player for Melbourne Victory.
