Biography
Signed by Melbourne Victory ahead of the 2024/25 season, Clerismario Santos Rodrigues, better known as Santos, is an exciting Brazilian winger with pace to burn.
Santos began his professional career in Croatia with Dubrava before spending three seasons playing across Bosnia, notably helping Rudar Prijedor win the Second Division Championship and secure promotion to the Bosnian Premier League.
Following a standout final season in Bosnia with Željezničar, Santos earnt a move to Cypriot club AEK Larnaca, registering two appearances in UEFA Conference League Qualifiers before joining Victory in October 2024.
Progressively working his way into the side after missing the majority of pre-season preparations, Santos hit his stride following the new year, scoring four goals and providing one assist in a seven-game span.
Extending his contract with the club until the end of the 2026/27 A-League Men’s season, Santos’ rapid speed and powerful playing style makes him a nightmare match-up for any opposing fullback.
