Claudia Bunge
3 Defender
Making her return to Melbourne Victory ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, Claudia Bunge is a Kiwi international central defender.
Joining the club already with New Zealand senior national team experience, Bunge contributed to Victory’s back-to-back Championships in 2020/21 and 2021/22.
Jetting off to Danish club HB Køge after competing at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup with the Football Ferns, Bunge would later come back to Victory in 2024 with European experience under her belt.
Reuniting with defensive partner Kayla Morrison, Bunge would be a crucial part of Victory’s rock-solid defensive unit, while also contributing with five goals and three assists.
Set to remain in Melbourne for the 2025/26 season, Bunge will hope to remain a key player as Victory strive for silverware.![]()
