Holly Furphy
9 Attacker
Blowing away the competition as an injury-replacement signing in January 2025, Holly Furphy is a young Melbourne-born attacker.
Spending time with the club as a train-on player during the 2019/20 season, Furphy opted to go down the college route, attending Santa Clara University in the United States from 2022 to 2024.
Despite suffering an unfortunate ACL tear during her first year of college, Furphy recovered and completed her remaining two years overseas before joining Victory mid-way through the 2024/25 season.
Brought off the bench for her A-League Women’s debut against Sydney FC at AAMI Park, Furphy scored Victory’s second goal to seal the win.
Primarily utilised as a super-sub, Furphy would go on to register three goals and an assist in just 602 league minutes played.
Selected to the Australian U23 squad to compete in the 2025 ASEAN Women’s Championship, Furphy would grab the winning goal in the Final against Myanmar to lift a memorable piece of silverware.
Signed on for the 2025/26 season, the ceiling for the 23-year-old forward appears limitless.
