Jason Davidson

Returning to his hometown on a two-year contract ahead of the 2025/26 season, Jason Davidson is an experienced left-sided defender.

Born in Melbourne, Davidson spent his early years in football across Portugal and the Netherlands, notably earning a move to English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion in 2014.

Davidson went on to play for the likes of Huddersfield Town, Groningen and Rijeka before returning to Australia, signing for Perth Glory and playing his part in a Premiership-winning season.

After a two-year stint in Korea with Ulsan Hyundai, ‘Davo’ reunited with Tony Popovic at Melbourne Victory, helping the Club win the FFA Cup after a stunning free-kick in the Final at AAMI Park.

Spending three seasons in Belgium and Greece, the Socceroo defender’s move back home was announced in August 2025.
