Sofia Sakalis

Signing for Victory ahead of the 2024/25 season, Sofia Sakalis is a Melbourne-born attacking midfielder/winger.
Highly touted from young, Sakalis signed her first contract at Melbourne City as a 15-year-old and made five appearances during her four seasons at City.
Sakalis’ next move was across the country to Perth Glory, where she became a first-team regular.
Registering 49 appearances for the Glory, Sakalis made the return to her home and signed for Melbourne Victory in August 2024.
A technically gifted player, Sakalis has played across various national team age groups for Australia, most notably playing a part in the U23s’ ASEAN Women’s Championship-winning team.
Making seven appearances in her debut Victory campaign, the 23-year-old will aim to reach new heights after re-signing with the club for the 2025/26 season.
