Zinédine Machach

Zinédine Machach is a French professional footballer currently playing as a midfielder for Melbourne Victory in the A-League. 

Machach began his youth career with SC Air Bel, later joining AS Cannes and then Olympique Marseille. He moved to Toulouse in 2014, making his Ligue 1 debut in May 2015. Over the years, he has had several loan spells, including stints with Carpi and Crotone in Italy’s Serie B, and Cosenza.

In July 2022, he signed a two-year deal with Ionikos in Greece. In August 2023, Machach joined Melbourne Victory on a one-year contract and made an immediate impact, scoring in his debut match on 21 October 2023. Throughout the 2023-24 season, he proved crucial to the team, netting seven goals in 29 appearances. Following his successful season, he re-signed with Melbourne Victory for an additional two years, solidifying his role in the squad.
