Melbourne Victory captain Mark Milligan believes his side’s trip to Tasmania will give the club’s newest signings a great preview into what they can expect this Hyundai A-League season.
Speaking after the club’s first training session in Kingston, Tasmania, Milligan said the additions of Pablo Contreras and James Troisi, the latter on loan from Serie A side Atalanta, would provide added depth to Victory’s squad.

“It definitely just adds to the depth of our squad, which is very important now because the league is getting a lot stronger,” Milligan said.
“Troisi has been at a lot of good clubs over his career. I was fortunate enough to play with him in the Olympic side and a couple of times with the Socceroos as well. He’s a quality player.”
