Melbourne Victory can confirm that Jake Brimmer has a tear to the meniscus in his left knee.
Brimmer was substituted against Adelaide United just prior to half-time after a challenge and scans have since confirmed the extent of the injury.
Brimmer will undergo a surgical consult in the coming days and the Club will work hard with Jake with a view to having him back before the end of the season.
