Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that Brazilian midfielder Clarismario Santos Rodrigues, known affectionately as “Santos”, has re-signed with the Club until the end of the 2026/27 A-Leagues Season.
The 23-year-old made 26 A-League Men’s appearances during his first season at Melbourne Victory,scoring four goals, which ultimately helped the team reach its second consecutive Grand Final appearance.
Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, said he was pleased to see Santos commit to another two seasons.
“Santos arrived just as the season was starting, and we saw him adapt quickly to the demands of the A-League and he brings great flair and creativity.
“I have no doubt that his best football is ahead of him and he can entrench himself as one of the league’s most exciting and productive players.”
Santos was equally pleased to be continuing his journey at Melbourne Victory.
“I have loved my time at the Club so far, playing in front of our wonderful fans, with a fantastic group of teammates and an exciting way of playing. While I am proud of our season last year, I am hungry to achieve more and be a big part of even more success, as we look to go one step further next season,” Santos said.
