Melbourne Victory will honour former player Marco Rojas before this weekend’s Melbourne Derby.
The Club will celebrate his professional career and contribution to both Victory and the A-Leagues ahead of the Round 4 fixture on Saturday, November 8, kick-off 7.35pm AEDT.
The 33-year-old will be part of a presentation in the Melbourne Derby build-up at AAMI Park, with fans encouraged to be in their seats early to show their appreciation.
Rojas, who received 45 caps for New Zealand, enjoyed three stints at Victory as a player and was a part of the side that won the Australia Cup in 2021.
Across 119 A-Leagues appearances wearing Victory colours, he scored 39 goals, with his best individual season coming in 2012/13, when he struck 15 times.
He has returned to the Club in recent months, being involved with Academy tour programs, as well as memberships and partnership arrangements.
