Melbourne Victory is able to provide the following update for Rhianna Pollicina.
The 28-year-old midfielder will undergo surgery today for a wrist fracture sustained in the final minutes of the Ninja A-League Women’s match against Adelaide United on Saturday.
Women’s Head Coach, Jeff Hopkins, commented:
“We are naturally disappointed to lose Mini to injury, but will now focus our energies on supporting her recovery to ensure she returns to training as soon as possible. Hopefully, this will be in a few weeks.”
