Melbourne Victory is delighted to enter into a new partnership to make St Michael’s Grammar School the Club’s newest performance school.
By joining the Victory family, St Michael’s and its cohorts will benefit significantly from being connected to best-in-class sporting experiences and aspirational pathways for students.
Alongside the Club leading a performance program for students, Melbourne Victory Pathways coaches will help guide their inter-school competition teams, from primary to senior age groups, converging to participation in the annual Victory Schools Cup.
Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie, commented on the value of the partnership:
“It is fantastic to welcome the entire St Michael’s community into the Melbourne Victory family, knowing we will all universally gain from this connection.
“We look forward to seeing students, inspired by the opportunity of engaging in A-League match day experiences, and staff, who will be exposed to professional growth opportunities, both developing as a direct impact of this.”
St Michael’s Director of Sport, Tyren Montebruno, added:
“This partnership with Melbourne Victory is an exciting milestone for Sport at St Michael’s. It allows us to provide our students with access to elite coaching, a clearly defined development framework, and aspirational pathways, while remaining true to our school values and focus on holistic student growth.”
Melbourne Victory is now delivering bespoke football programs across 12 Victorian partner schools. Starting from primary schools all the way to tertiary level, the Club is developing a diverse community of like-minded schools engaging their students through quality football programming and ensuring access to elite pathways for aspirational students.
