Enjoying an undefeated month of action, highlighted by notable 4-1 wins over both Macarthur FC and Central Coast Mariners, the Turkish Airlines Player of the Match winners from each of these Isuzu UTE A-League fixtures all received automatic nominations for the award.
After the magical Juan Mata secured his third Player of the Month award following a magical February, March is set to crown a first-time winner of the award.

Jordi Valadon
In contention for the Player of the Month award for the first time this season, Jordi Valadon finds himself nominated after a standout performance in Victory’s Round 20 Big Blue clash at Allianz Stadium.
Providing a slick assist for Charles Nduka’s 69th-minute goal, the reigning Victory Medallist played in every available minute during March, while averaging an impressive FotMob rating of 7.53.
The 23-year-old midfielder continues to prove his value for the Boys in Blue and has put forward a strong case as March’s Player of the Month.
Denis Genreau
A returning option for Victory’s Player of the Month award after his previous October nomination, Denis Genreau’s strong display against Macarthur FC has him in contention for the prize.
While the 26-year-old only managed a brief spell of the bench in Victory’s first game of the month after recovering from injury, Genreau’s return to the starting lineup would see him score in Round 21 and provide an assist in Round 22.
Recording 8.5 and 8.6 FotMob ratings in consecutive games to round out the month, which has seen him jump up to seventh in entire league with his average rating of 7.42, the well-rounded midfielder has a formidable claim to the Player of the Month award.
Nishan Velupillay
Back in the running for the Player of the Month award for a consecutive month, Socceroo Nishan Velupillay has kept up his electric performances into March.
Starting in all three games, and notably scoring the crucial goal to bring Victory back level in their Round 22 clash against Central Coast, Velupillay finished March with an average FotMob rating of 7.40.
Returning to top form with finals football looming on the horizon, the 24-year-old Victory Academy product is the third and final nominee for March’s Player of the Month award.
