Melbourne Victory can confirm that Joshua Rawlins has completed a transfer to Dundee United following the conclusion of the 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League campaign.
The 22-year-old defender has signed a pre-contract with the Tangerines in advance of the 2026/27 Scottish Premiership season.
Rawlins, since signing from Utrecht in June 2024, has made 49 appearances in all competitions for Victory, across the A-League and the Australia Cup, whilst continuing his national team journey, most recently representing Australia at the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup.
Speaking ahead of his move to Tannadice, Rawlins reflected on his time at Victory.
“It has been a privilege to represent Melbourne Victory over the last two seasons, pushing me to better myself as a footballer and a young person, and I want to thank everyone at the Club for supporting and accelerating my development. To the Members and fans, your support has been incredible, and for this, I am very grateful.
“Of course, I am looking forward to a new opportunity and environment, but I will never forget this period in my career, everything it has taught me, and I am proud of what I helped the team to achieve.”
Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, added:
“We thank Josh for his important contributions in helping the Club reach two Finals series, including a Grand Final in 2025, and look forward to seeing his career continue overseas.”
“We are proud that our program is able to again support a young professional’s transition into an exciting European league, and its testament to the hard work of everybody at the Club.”
