The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) and Paramount Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) have today announced the extension of their media partnership for a further three years.
Following an extensive open market process, the new partnership includes broader free-to-air exposure, greater content distribution for the A-Leagues, and every match live on the best value-for-money streaming platform in Australia.
Under the renewed agreement, every Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s match and every Ninja A-League Women’s match will be available live on Paramount+, making it the only place to watch all the action as it happens.
One Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s match per week will be broadcast live and free-to-air on Network 10, with marquee games broadcast on Network 10’s primary channel, 10.
All Ninja A-League Women’s matches will be available live on Paramount+, with every game also broadcast live and free on 10 Streaming. The partnership also includes ten women’s matches shown live and free-to-air on 10 Drama each season, including the Grand Final.
Fans on Paramount+ will also have access to minis, highlights and replays of every Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s and Ninja A-League Women’s match.
Network 10 will also continue to host their pre-game show, Football Tonight, ahead of every Isuzu UTE A-League free-to-air match, while A-Leagues’ popular Total A-Leagues and DubZone shows will now be available on 10 Streaming.
The three-year agreement, taking the total partnership to eight years, signifies the aligned vision and growth prospects of the A-Leagues and Paramount ANZ.
The new partnership also encompasses an increased annual rights fee, a joint commitment to increase marketing and promotion initiatives, and expand the accessibility of A-Leagues’ content in pubs and clubs.
Steve Rosich, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Professional Leagues, said:
“After an extensive open market process which showcased the demand and value of the A-Leagues, we’re really pleased to renew our partnership with Paramount+ and Network 10 – the home of Australian football.
“The process highlighted that Paramount+ and Network 10 provide us with, not just a commercial growth outcome, but the most free-to-air exposure to the alternate offerings, with Paramount+ providing reach and an affordable streaming service for football fans.
“The extension of this partnership cements our combined ambitions to grow our audiences, and realise the potential of the A-Leagues.
“We’re really pleased to make this announcement in the lead up to the Isuzu UTE A-League 2026 Grand Final, an historic moment for the league with the first Grand Final on New Zealand soil – which is a sell out, following two sold out Semi Finals in Adelaide and Newcastle last weekend.”
Adam Cush, Director of Sport, Paramount Australia and New Zealand, said:
“We are incredibly proud to continue our partnership with the Australian Professional Leagues and to build on the strong foundation we have established together.
“The A-Leagues’ future in this country is bright, and we are determined to play our part in expanding its reach, growing its audience and giving football the platform it deserves.”
The A-Leagues has set streaming records since the partnership with Paramount+ began. Viewing is at record levels in the 2025/26 season, up 55% since the 2021/22 season.
Across Paramount+ and Network 10, the A-League season has already reached 4 million Australians on streaming and broadcast TV, ahead of the Finals Series.
Paramount+ subscription plans start from $7.99 per month or from $70.99 for an annual subscription.
The 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League and Ninja A-League seasons will kick off on 16 October, 2026.
