Melbourne Victory recorded a third four-goal performance in a row against Brunswick City in Round 18 of VPL1 on Monday night, aided by the hat-trick from a 17-year-old starlet.
Returning to the Home of the Matildas for VPL1 action, Victory were keen to keep their hot form going up against Brunswick City.
However, it wouldn’t start in the ideal manner for the Young Vucks, falling behind in the 23rd minute.
But, with confidence in the group sky high, the belief to comeback was clearly alive, with 17-year-old Malik Olukhale notching an equaliser in the 35th minute.
A goal a piece at the break, two red cards early in the second half would throw a major spanner in the works for the visitors, with Victory taking full advantage.
Olukhale would claim the lead for the Boys in Blue in the 51st minute, and later complete his hat-trick in the 84th minute.
Adding the cherry on top, Jack Mihailidis would ensure that Victory would finish with four goals in a game for the third time on the bounce in the 95th minute.

Speaking to MelbourneVictory.com.au, Senior Academy Head Coach, Besart Berisha, expressed his pleasure with the development his team has shown over recent weeks.
“We continued our great form with another strong home performance and once again showed our attacking strength. We created six clear chances, scored four goals and, most importantly, stayed true to our football and our identity.
“We were very well organised, controlled most of the game and showed real hunger and determination in front of goal. The boys played with courage, personality and a winning mentality throughout the match.
“I’m very proud of this group. We are playing exciting football, developing our young players and continuing to grow together every single week.”
