The 33-year-old German defender has linked up with Giovanni Savarese’s team on a two-year contract, bringing a wealth of experience from high-level competition in Europe, where he featured in both the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League.
Ziereis, most recently attached to SpVgg Greuther Fürth, built a strong reputation across nine seasons at St. Pauli before three years at Austrian Bundesliga side LASK, and has settled into Victoria by seeing the sights, training with his new teammates, and playing the pre-season fixture against Caroline Springs George Cross.
