Melbourne Victory’s Lewis Marinucci has been called up by Australia for the upcoming 2027 AFC Men’s U20 Asian Cup qualifiers in Laos.
The young defender will be part of Trevor Morgan’s 23-player squad for qualification matches against Laos, Malaysia and Indonesia, as the Young Socceroos bid to reach the finals tournament.
This will be hosted by China, and is where the AFC’s representatives for the 2027 FIFA Men’s U20 World Cup will be determined.
Marinucci was recently in the nation’s ASEAN U19 Boys’ Championship-winning team, alongside Victory teammates Oliver Dragicevic and Daniel Graskoski.
