Melbourne Victory face Persib Bandung in the AFC Champions League Two.
Just a week after travelling to Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, the Boys in Blue host the reverse Group E fixture at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium on Wednesday, November 4, kick-off 6:45pm AEDT.
The quick turnaround, split only by domestic league matches for each team, gives Victory a near-immediate chance to respond to the 2-0 Match Day 3 defeat in West Java, Indonesia.
Supporters in Australia can watch the Match Day 4 fixture live on Paramount+.
The Boys in Blue
As they did in October, the matches continue to come thick and fast for Melbourne Victory, jumping from Sunday’s A-League Men match against Central Coast Mariners into another contest with the AFC Champions League Two Group E leaders.
Persib Bandung found a way past Giovanni Savarese’s side in the second half last Wednesday, but the visitors had moments in the contest, including Santos being denied a third goal in as many ACL Two matches by the crossbar.
It was another of Victory’s goalscorers on the continental stage, Jordi Valadon, who broke his A-League duck at the weekend. The midfielder’s wonderful, dipping strike beat Central Coast goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne all ends up to earn the 10 players a point after Harry Shillington’s early sending off.
His suspension does not apply in Asia, meaning Joshua Inserra is the only player unavailable to the Head Coach after Louis D’Arrigo made his first league appearance of the season at the weekend, fully recovered from a minor muscle injury.

MD4 squad:
Jason DAVIDSON, Louis D’ARRIGO, Oliver DRAGICEVIC, Jack DUNCAN, Denis GENREAU, Michael GHOSSAINI, Daniel GRASKOSKI, Matthew GRIMALDI, Brendan HAMILL, Keegan JELACIC, William KENGNI, Franco LINO, Tom LOCKYER, Guillermo MAY, Jack MIHAILIDIS, Charles NDUKA, Malik OLUKHALE, Clerismario SANTOS RODRIGUES, Harrison SAWYER, Harrison SHILLINGTON, Xavier STELLA, Jordi VALADON, Jack WARSHAWSKY, Philipp ZIEREIS.
Last time out
Melbourne Victory showed some real ticker to claim a point in difficult circumstances when they faced the Central Coast Mariners at home on Sunday afternoon. The Boys in Blue stuck to their task after Harry Shillington’s 13th-minute red card, and despite trailing to Oliver Lavale’s volleyed second-half finish, they dug in and took a hard-fought point thanks to Jordi Valadon’s special strike just six minutes after falling behind.
Persib Bandung made it back-to-back Super League wins with a ruthless showing against Isen Mulang FC. The defending champions raced into a 3-0 half-time lead, with Mariano Peralta lasering them in front before a pair of close-range finishes from Luka Menalo. A fourth goal arrived late on, when Marc Klok was given time to score stylishly from outside of the penalty area.
