The Melbourne Victory Ultimate Training Experiences began last week with Matthew Kemp and Steve Pantelidis visiting the Cardinia United Soccer Club in Pakenham.
Kemp and Pantelidis were welcomed by an excited group of junior players and joined in a training session, before signing autographs and posing for photos with the youngsters.
The session provided an opportunity to reward the hard working and dedicated junior players, coaches, team managers and families who have facilitated the small sided games competition held at Toomuc Reserve every Sunday.
President of Cardinia United JSC Rob Hastings said it was an enormous thrill to have Victory players visiting an emerging junior club.
“The club is still in the development stages; therefore having players of the calibre of Matthew and Steven working with our kids has been inspirational for everyone involved,” Hastings said.
“The Melbourne Victory Ultimate Training Experience has provided a great injection of adrenaline and enthusiasm into the club moving into competition for next year”.
Victory-s support of grassroots football development continues with further Ultimate Training Experiences at Altona City, Brunswick Zebras, Doncaster Rovers and Richmond JSC this week.
