Lynn Williams is loving life at Melbourne Victory.
The United States international starred as Victory recorded a 3-2 win over Brisbane Roar on Saturday, maintaining a perfect start to the Liberty A-League season.
Williams headed in the opener, set up Harriet Withers’ strike and then teed up Catherine Zimmerman as Victory made it three wins from three games.
All of that came less than a week after she came off the bench to score the winner in the Melbourne Derby.
“I love it,” Williams told Paramount+ after the win in Brisbane.
“The girls are amazing, it’s a different style of soccer that I’m used to so definitely getting to work on things that I don’t normally get to work on in the NWSL or with the national team.
“I’m having a great time and I love Australia so what’s not to smile about?”
Williams is on loan at Victory on a guest stint from the North Carolina Courage.
Her stay in Melbourne is set to be short, but the 28-year-old is enjoying her time at Victory.
“I’m going to give it my all for those games. I know my time here is short and sweet, but I’m loving it,” Williams said.
“I’m loving the girls, I’m loving the coaches, I’m loving the fans, loving the weather, just loving everything.”
Victory will face City again in another Melbourne Derby at AAMI Park on Boxing Day.
