Melbourne Victory is delighted to announce that it has extended its partnership with WorkSafeVictoria for a further five years.
The partnership, which began in February 2017, has proven to be a success with WorkSafeplaying a leading role in supporting Victory’s community initiatives.
Melbourne Victory CEO Trent Jacobs welcomed WorkSafe’s decision to extend its partnership with the Club.
“WorkSafe is a trusted brand in this state and they play an important role in our community, ensuring Victorian workers return home safely every day,” Jacobs said.
“Their support and integration into our community-based programs has been incredible and we look forward to partnering with WorkSafe to ensure their important messages reach football fans across the state.”
WorkSafe Victoria Chief Executive Clare Amies said the partnership with Melbourne Victory had created new opportunities for WorkSafe to engage with the community to deliver important workplace health and safety messages.
Ms Amies said, “WorkSafe aims to ensure that every Victorian worker arrives home safely each day. To achieve this we need to take workplace health and safety messages to all parts of the community.
“Melbourne Victory’s extensive community program and corporate network allows us to engage employers, young workers and people from diverse backgrounds and we are proud to partner a club that demonstrates its commitment to improving outcomes for Victorian workers and their families.”
