Melbourne Victory’s squad is set to be boosted by the return of key players ahead of their trip to Adelaide.
Socceroos pair Nick D’Agostino and Ben Folami will be assessed upon their return from Saudi Arabia but are both expected to be available for selection.
Matt Spiranovic has exited covid protocols and returns to the squad.
His return is timely given the absence of Roderick Miranda, who will miss through suspension.
Matt Acton injured his foot against the Wanderers and will miss up to six weeks of action.
Robbie Kruse will undergo arthroscopic surgery after his knee failed to respond to an initial round of conservative rehabilitation.
Kruse sustained the injury during the Club’s Asian Champions League Play-off clash with Vissel Kobe on Wednesday 15 March with scans confirming cartilage damage upon his return to Melbourne.
The forward’s expected recovery period is up to eight weeks.
