2020 AFC Champions League fixture update

2020 AFC Champions League fixture update

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has made the decision to delay the first three Champions League Group Stage Match Days involving Chinese clubs.

This decision means Melbourne Victory will now host the Match Day 3 fixture with Beijing FC on Tuesday, May 26.

Regarding Match Days 4-6 hosted in China, the AFC also agreed that a deadline to assess the latest situation will be set 21 days before each match.

If it is decided the game cannot go ahead as proposed, the host club will have to nominate a neutral venue at least 14 days before the Match Day and also meet any quarantine requirements prevailing at the time.
