Melbourne Victory can confirm that this Saturday’s Australia Day match at AAMI Park is now officially a ‘sellout’.
All available public tickets for the U-NITE match between Melbourne Victory and Alessandro Del Piero’s Sydney FC have been sold, with no tickets available for purchase on the day at AAMI Park.
Aside from quality football, the fourth annual U-NITE match will feature a range of Australia Day themed events, as the football community embraces multiculturalism and celebrates diversity.
Those who have secured tickets will also be able to watch a curtain raiser match between Victoria’s best young multicultural talent, as the Unite FC team take on the Victorian Champions League (VCL) All-Stars, with kick-off taking place just after gates open at AAMI Park at 4pm.
This match will also be a special day for 55 new Australians, who will take part in a Citizenship Ceremony on AAMI Park. The new citizens will be invited on to the pitch just before kick-off to make their pledge in front of a sold-out AAMI Park. Talented Australian singer Silvie Paladino will also sing the national anthem ahead of one of the biggest matches of the season.
