Kosta Barbarouses moved into outright fifth for most Hyundai A-League goals for Melbourne Victory with his brace against Brisbane Roar.
The New Zealander, 28, scored his 29th and 30th league goals for Victory, moving past head coach Kevin Muscat (28) on Friday.
Barbarouses is a two-time championship winner with Victory, including scoring in both Grand Finals.
His latest strikes also moved him into outright fourth for most goals in all competitions for Victory.
The goals were his 39th and 40th for the club, lifting him above Carlos Hernandez (38).
