Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that forward Bruno Fornaroli has joined the Club on a permanent basis.
The Uruguayan-born Australian initially joined the Club as an injury replacement player in October and has signed on with Victory’s Isuzu UTE A-League squad after the opening of the January transfer window.
Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica said Fornaroli’s permanent signing will ensure the strength of the Club’s attacking stocks.
“Bruno has been a quality addition to the squad over his injury replacement period and we’re looking forward to him becoming a great contributor now that he is with us permanently,” Didulica said.
Fornaroli was also pleased to be calling Victory home.
“I’ve enjoyed my time at Victory so far and I’m excited to continue to give everything for the Club and the fans,” Fornaroli said.
“Playing for Victory has made me realise how much this Club means to the people of Melbourne and I am looking forward to representing our fans and Melbourne Victory moving forward.”
Fornaroli is the Club’s first signing of the January transfer period.
